1. Charging cable fire risk (2024 recall — 2019–2024 Cayenne E-Hybrids). The 220V/240V home charging cable supplied with the Cayenne E-Hybrid, Turbo E-Hybrid and Turbo S E-Hybrid can overheat and catch fire while charging — 110 overheating events were reported before Porsche acted. Until the improved cable (with a temperature sensor) is fitted free: don’t use the cable — charge at public stations instead.
